I have a customer who says they get delay voice messages from time to time. When they check the date and time of the receive message, the date and time are a week late. They claim they check their messages daily. The problem is at voice mail ext 13, the system has about 10 ports for voice mail and answer about 15 CO Lines. Thanks

I have heard that complaint since Legend first got Voice Mail.
The problem usually turns out that the caller was listening to one message and wanted to skip it, but accidentally pressed the POUND (#) twice, thus skipping their message. Then, a week later, they listen closer and find the "DELAYED" message.
A good way to determine if this is the case, ask the client; "How do you skip one message to get to the next one?"
If he knows that answer, then you know the answer to their problem.

Merlinman is right on with that one. I also have heard of this problem for years. It is omeone who is in a big hurry and will just dial ## and on to the next message.
