I finally have my v-mail working (Thanks to Mike), but now I have set up a bulletin board at ext. 50 to allow people to hear the directions to our church and our service times. The board works FINE when the system is on NIGHT / CLOSED. When you dial 50 it gives you the message no probs. But in the day, the AA asks for your name and the person you are attempting to contact. ARRRRRGH! THis thing drives me NUTS!
Any suggestions would be WONDERFUL!

you do realize there are separate day night menus ?

set the selector code on the day menu the same as you have the night set

I have not set up any submenus from the main menu, and I did not set up any selector codes. After reading the manual, I could not see how setting selector codes would help me any. Maybe I am missing something. Reviewing the manual again right now.

I think I just discovered something though. Since I have not set up a selector code for "5" on the day menu, it is disregarding that and only catching the "0" of the 50 and sending me to the general mailbox. I may be on my way to my solution. Got to do a bit more reading or if someone knows the quick solution - I'm listening.

I GOT IT. It was indeed the selector code. I thought they were all defaulted and it turns out that selector code 5 was not set up. Once I told it to direct dial the extension. BINGO!!

Thanks a million skip555!

You could also setup an announcement and point a selector code to it.
Good to hear from ya Jeff.
