I have PRI"s with DID's to Coverage Groups, faxes, phones.
The main number "7200" go to Coverage group (CG) "7200" has 12 members with group(all) ring. This is "day" mode and is working.
I want the Merlin Mail to answer in "night" mode.
I can't get it to work.
I tried overflow in coverage group to 777 (VM) and 4 rings. Nope
Tried Night service, wouldn't accept what I wanted to do, or didn't work.
The system has six(6) DLC ATTENDANTS!
Only one answer point; the other five just need DSS keys to monitor employees.
Do I need to put night keys on all six phones?
And do they all need a night key and all have to be switched for day and night?
Some of the ATTENDANTS are in the "CG" 7200 group, and most members are ETR's
Calls are normally answered quickly in DAY mode, but the AA should never answer in day mode on that DNIS/DID.
Will changing the DNIS to a real T/R single line set work if it was used to forward to different coverage groups? (CG 7XXX=day 777vm=night.
Thanks for your help. I've had suggestions from lots of other pros with no success.

Oh my. This may wind up being a personal project for one of us (especially with the challenge that "other pros" couldn't make it happen).

First, it sounds like you have the 007MLM, que no? Also know that Night Service can be triggered by the VM, the PBX or both. If the PBX is involved AT ALL in this process, understand that all DLC attendants have to be "in agreement" in order for Night Service to kick in.

Come again? Each DLC by definition gets a Night Service button...whether you like it or not. And if you're going to play the "PBX tells the VM what to do" game, then Night Service will only activate when all six DLC operators have the feature turned on.

I have a customer or two like that. My tendency is to have Night Service activated for all DLC sets (with the desi strip labeled as LEAVE ON). I do this for all but one Operator, who shall remain educated about the Night Mode button. He/she is allowed to have the final word.

True, except that the 007MLM has no earthly idea about the new DST schedule and the Magix does. Plus it's far more convenient to hit a Night Button for an impromptu company birthday party (or whatever) than it is to login to Merlin Mail and tweak the schedule.
