Release 4.1.12

I have a user that has no messages but the VM light is on.

I have done the obvious things... reboot the phone, deleted the user folder and wave files restarted service etc. She is not a member of a hunt group or anything like that. I do have visual voice as a user button. Is anyone having this same issue or have a fix? Thank you in advance!

Is there anything on the "Source Numbers" tab for that user?

I had the same problem once. However, turning voicemaill off and then back on and rebooting the phone fixed it for me. What type of phone are you using, IP or digital? What if you left a new message on that extension which would force the light on, and then go in and play and delete the message.

The phone is a 5410. I tried turning off voicemail and the reboot. I will leave a message, play and delete it. Thanks,

You are on the right track, delete the wav file from the folder and restart services.

Try deleting the user account in Mnaganer and then delete the users folder in the VM Pro directory (you can back up the .wav files and put them back later).

Then restart services or reboot. Then make the user again. Hopefully that should get rid of it.

Nope.

It took upgrading to 4.2.14 to get the light to go out.
