Hi everyone - Tommy has helped me to figure out that the ring generator is shot on my R7 ACS. No single line sets are ringing. We have a fax machine and one other analog device that I'd like to connect to the system, but can't do it right now with the ring generator not working.
I could get the ACS repaired (it's not under warranty), but I wanted to check first on the 012E cards. I'm going to eventually need one of those anyway. Do the 012E's have their own ring generator, or do they rely on the processor's generator when analog devices are connected? That might be a solution if the card has its own.
Thanks for the clarification.

I believe each module has it's own. I know I have replaced 308s because of that same problem.
