I took over a IPOffice 500 client installation recently. The client has a Customer Relationship Management CRM software from a company called Higher Gear. I haven't done SMDR yet so not sure how to go about this. Do I need to connect serially or uses the network to get back to this onsite server for the call accounting?
Any help is appreciated.

Set up Delta server. You can set up Delta to log SMDR to a file. Havent heard of Higher Gear, but it will have to grab info from the SMDR file.

Thank you. Should that be on the server as a package ready for install or do they have to purchase it?

Yes, it should be on the admin cd or admin file under CCC.

I like to install Delta server on all my installs because I like to set everything up with hot desking features, so users can move around. If Delta server is not installed, and the system reboots, phones would revert back to the base extension, not the logged on extension.

Nice! I am going to consider that going forward on my installs. I haven't had any yet only done MACs and repairs so far.
This site is a crime. They have had the IPOffice 2 years and the former company never finished the job, etc. So being a IPOffice newbie I have walked into a @)*#*$ I want all the issues fixed situation.
