Ok I have a a new install of a partner R8, with a 308, 012, and partner messaging in a 5 slot carrier. When a person is on any line and a incoming calls comes in on any line I get like a pulse sound on the phone. I tested the dmarc doesn't mad happen there. Already replaced the R8 still there. Was thinking it was the 5 slot carrier. Anybody have any other ideas?

Could it be abbreviated ringing??....try turning that off and see what happens.

Pulse sound? In step with the line ringing and you hear it through the handset? Abbreviated ringing would be one "beep" from the phone ringer (speaker).

I tested the dmarc doesn't happen there.

I would unplug the lines from the ACS and test right at that point ?

As to a defective carrier, they very rarely cause problems other than intermittant card connectors when they get old. If you want to check, just pull the ACS and connect it as a standalone. If the problem persists it's external to the system. If it stops that still doesn't rule out the 308 and 012 or condemn the carrier. Pull each then all of the mods and see what happens.

Abbreviated ringing is turned off already checked that. And plug the lines from system and checked that also.

As Hal said, pull the ACS out of the carrier, and put the power cord right into the back of it.
Test with the first 5 lines that are still on the ACS.

If OK, put the ACS into the carrier, pull the other modules, and retest the first 5 line. Then add one module at a time. Even swap positions of the 308 and the 012 (which won't affect programming, the extension numbers and line numbers will remain the same.)

I tested it with all the other cards out still there so it is either the 5 slot or the lines. I am woundering if it is the lines and my butt set isn't picking it up.
