Hello,
A customer asked me to relocate their 8300 with vm. Apparently the vendor that serviced the account is out of business. No programming changes will be made - just some ext will not be re connected at the new location.
There is an admin on site who seems to know most of the programming stuff for he system, but I want to make sure I don't run into anything weird doing a back up and power down.

If installed and set up correctly there should already be a auto backup tool in place.

Backups are usually scheduled to run nightly via an external FTP server. Assuming it's setup you should have a backup but if I were moving the system I would do a backup of all 4 server backups and 5 IA770 backups. So a total of 9 .tar.gz files. If your customer has an Avaya maintenance agreement, then you'll need to contact Avaya to have the address changed just in case they ever need service in the future.
