I cant find where to add a Shared Sytem Access key. All I have is SA and SA-00 as options under "telephone programing". I am using SPM9.

It's there - press the button to be programmed, dial *17, dial the primary extension number, Enter, the the position of the SA button on the primary that you want to share, enter.

TTT, I get error when I hit "*17". Also searching for it only comes up with SA-00 or SA. This is from Central Telephone Programing. Am I doing something wrong?

My goal here is to have exts. ring when a selector code is dialed. AA4 ---> Selector code 4 ---> sub menu 4 ---> selector code 1 ----> ext 33 and 21 or selector code 2 ---> ext 16, 28, 29, 20, 34, 18, 19.

I thought instead of building a group w/ members I can transfer to one ext and add SSA buttons to the other exts.

Are you trying to add the SSA button on an Operator position? Can't do that.

Key Mode? PBX? Can't do it on Key.

How about renumbering a couple of adjuncts, have the selector codes transfer to those adjuncts, and then use Primary Coverage buttons on the extension to receive calls directed to the adjuncts.

TTT: thanks... I figured out that SSA cant be done while in Key mode which this system is in. I was able to point selector code to an ext. and I added cover buttons to all the other exts. that needed to ring. Only problem is that all messages go to primary ext.
