Hello All-
In Release 6, has anyone had any luck getting IMAP working on a Voicemail Pro machine?
IPO R6v2
Windows Server 2008 32 Bit, only running VMPro no other real apps (Exchange is not running on this machine, just VM Pro)

This is a new install, not an upgrade.

In VMPro client Help/About, web services is started and IMAP Server is stopped..

Any ideas?

Do you have the settings set in the control panel and the Voicemail Pro client. There is a job aid on this on the knowledgebase.

If you go to the knowledgebase, under tools, there is a program called DebugView. That will let you know if there are login errors, etc...

No, the Exchange server is run by Corp and they don't want to play. We have used IMAP on R5 successfully for UMS but this is our first R6 and its not being nice.

I just recently installed and IP Office R7 and the vociemail to email did not work. They had an Exchange server that we were not allowed to touch. Their IT people did work with us and the ultimate solution (after three different techs) was a setting in exchange server for "other devices" It is how you allow mail to come from phone systems, blackberry, Iphone, Etc. I beleive this setting first came out in Exchange 2003. I hope this helps.
