We have installed an IP office 4.0 with Embedded Voice mail. One phone has two lines ringing on it. When the person is on the phone and the second line rings, it goes to voice mail but the phone continues to ring. We have spoken to several techs, including ones from Avaya and they can't figure out what the resolution is. Can anyone help us out here? We have programmed the line not to ring on this phone but this is not the correct way. Thanks.

When you say one phone has 2 lines ringing on it. are you talking line appearances or intercom buttons?
Are you able to get into Manager for phone system programming?

Are you SURE that it's going to IP Office voicemail and not a telco carrier's voicemail? What you describe sounds exactly like there's a carrier VM in the picture. Mike
