Hello
I have a ACS solution that has a 206E card that seems to be failing on one of the ports which inturn is affecting the IVR solution (alot of static on the first port).

Can I replace it with a 308EC and just swap it out or should I use a 206E card and swap like for like.

As well, will the new card affect programming.

Can I get the process to use the Backup Restore feature from the PCMCIA card. I think reveiwing the last time it was backep up would be the first step I would like to take before enacting the restore on the system.

Also if I can get the `button programming for the `Page`feature I would great appriceate it.

Many thanks for any and all input

Best Regards,
Dan

If your ACS is R.1 it will need to be flashed to R.1.1 or greater for the 308ec to work.
Press feature 59 on any display phone to see what release you have.

Yes, you can use back-up/restore if you have a back-up card in the ACS, but if the batteries in the ACS are good you shouldn't lose programing.

And what type paging are you doing? Phones or loudspeaker.

Hi Dan-

If the 308 is compatible with the ACS you are using, then it is fine to use it. If it is not the last card in the carrier, it will throw off extensions on following cards by 2 extension numbers. Just move connecting cords to the new ports. The programming will follow to the new ports as well.

To backup to the card, it is #124, then 1 or 2 if you have an R7 or 8, and the Enter button to start.

Page can be Loudspeaker, group, or simultaneous. It is Intercom and 70, *7X, or *70
