I was starting to program Partner ACS and all of a sudden I was unable to get to either System Program or Central tel Program. Also when I try to access the voicemail system (PC Card) by dialing Intercom 777 it rings another extension in the office. Can someone give me direction on how to get this system back to factory default settings? That would probably be the easier way to remedy my situation Any help would greatly be appreciated!!!!!!!

Before you default it I would try a reset.
Make sure the 2 AAA batteries are good and intact.
Turn the system off, unplug it, and wait 10 seconds.
Plug it in, turn it on and wait about a minute and see if you can access the programming.

how do you turn it off? I don't see any type of switch. It is a 509 module.

Unplugging the black AC cord from the AC outlet or UPS would work, I think.

If the processor is an R8 or a late revision R7 it will reboot off of whatever programming is stored on the internal backup.

The 2 AAA batteries really serve no purpose other than to keep the replace batteries message from appearing on EXTs 10 & 11.

If you use the search tool, try looking for a procedure to default the processor here in the Avaya forum. I seem to recall one being given, but it escapes me at this moment.

If you press "FEATURE 00" from either EXT 10 or 11, what happens?

Once you can get into programming mode, EXT's 78 & 79 should be the only ones assigned to Hunt Group 7. It sounds like some other extension(s) ended up in that group, thus when you try to access the voicemail, a phone rings.

I Love FEATURE 00
