Partner R7 with Messaging large 16 box

I set selector code assignment for '1' to transfer to extension 26, but dialing in and pressing '1' I get 10 seconds of silence, then the Partner Princess says 'your party is not available'.

I set up 6 selector code transfers and this happens on all.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance for help-

'your party is not available'

Where does it go after that?

Assign a mail box to x 26, even if you set # of mail boxes to 16, 26 would'nt have one.

As Pencom stated , it sounds like you haven't assigned a mailbox to 26.
26 would be the 17th mail box of which you can't support unless you kill one of the others and give it to 26.

Also, don't use any selector code that is the first digit of any ext that you want to use direct ext transfer with.

Example, if you have extensions 10 through 30 on your system, then start your selector codes out with 4 if you want to use direct ext transfer.

Hope this helps.

Ive gotten around that by assigning selector code 5 as direct extension transfer then adding a 5 to the ext number 510, 511 etc . off course the have to remember to drop the 5 for ICM calls

a lot of customers dont like starting with for sales press 4......for accounting press 5...
