We have a site where the customer has a few 4610sw phones placed with home workers. One phone, persistently gives log in grief with a message on the screen: System Incompatibility

Sometimes it flashes back and forth to a log in screen. Anyone have any ideas why one out of 4 would do this. It does, on rare occasions, work. System is 406V2 5.0.22 with 4 VCM and 3 active outside users. All in house are 54xx.

I am not sure if this is a network issue or what. It is not a VPN tunnel, just a VPN endpoint setup. Any thoughts or help appreciated.

Have you checked System Status to see what alarms are on the system. Usually if anything happens it will show up in there... Also what VPN hardware are you using at the main site. We have tried to setup VPN phones for customers and have not had good luck, we started recomending hardware at both ends to do the VPN and just plug the phones in... It would be nice to get it working.
