Does anyone know if you can send a msg to a group of phones or hunt group?
I am trying to create an alert.
For testing here is my short code info
Code: *5N#
Feature: Display Msg
Telephone number:N";I need HELP at ext "e
Line Group:0

It works if I call an extension (*5 7561#) but not if I call a hunt group (*5 2999#). I tried to fwd an extension to the hunt group but did not get consistent results. It would work but only on 2 out of the 4 extensions and of those 2 extensions, it only displayed the full message on 1 of them.

Any ideas ??

I dont think it works for Hunt Groups.

What about posting a wav file to page the speakers of the hunt group?

Thanks for the reply. What they were wanting however was just a msg to show up on the displays with a single beep or tone. I realize the wav file could be just that, a single tone or beep, but I am not having luck getting the msg consistently to show up.
they don't own the system yet, but this has become a "must have" feature for their new system

If i get time i will play with my bench kit.

IS there any other manufacturer that IS using this feature?
