How hard is the installation process, ive dealt mainly with 66 blocks. I have to install a 110 and Krone here soon. Just wondering how the experts here do it or if you have any tips or advice? Mostly coming from an amphenol cable, X-connected thru a 1200 pair cable to outside.

What is the application and why are you "having' to use 110 and Krone?

Buy a good 110 tool with a 5 pair head. I put down my wire with standard pd tool then snap the cap using the big tool. The only time I worked with krone, I retermed about 300 pair off an option 11. 110 is not a substitute for krone and all the options problems cleared up!!

If you plan on doing a fair amount of cable terminations here is a small list of handy tools .
1. A Dracon punch down tool with interchageable blades . 66,110&krone.
2.A MN788H1 110 ATT/AVAYA 5pr/110 module tool . The head rotates for punching down or installing 110 modules .
3.A Progressive brand Toner&Tone Wand . There is many models available . Make our own choice .
4.A Progressive brand MN468 Modular Cable Tester . You can check a station jacks USOC,568A&56B for opens, shorts, reversels, rolled pairs .
hbiss please feel free to correct my grammar or spelling . At my age I need looking after at times .

How about a Krone to cat-5 mod end patch cable for the testing.
If your using the Krone highband blocks it's easier if use use the Krone punch tool, especially if you have to remove a block for any reason it has the block removal and spudger tool built in and it's cheaper than the Harris Krone blade itself.
I can make it stop.

Get a really good bit for the Krone or an actual Krone punchdown tool. I have a good bit, but it still isn't as good as my friend's Krone brand tool. If I had to do them a lot I'd probably have one.
When you go to punch down the Krone, angle the tool down slightly toward the scissor blades if it isn't working cleanly.
