The dtmf generator was busied out when we got there we returned it back to service then we could not break dialtone busied out 1 dtmf receiver at a time to make sure it was not one of them causeing the troble did not help. Is there anything we can do besides replaceing the main card

I don't think so, the dtmf rec are located on the MCII. On older MCI, I think they were located on the universal card.

Do you have a mix of single line and ss phones? If so can you break dial tone on the single line sets?
