I would start w/ a set of manuals. They have step by step instructions on how to enter program mode. You need them anyway to understand the data entry process.

The SX-50's all program the same, so the manuals you have are good to get started. Tell me the steps you are doing to enter program mode & I'll see if I can help. Hint: dip switches on the MCC card control password access to programming. Don't change the wrong one or you could default the system.

the steps i am doing to enter program mode are:
1-the password is not 58 (result invalid)
2-i closed switch s1 in the mcc & dialed 58 (result invaled)
3- i pressed status switch in the consol repetedly until disblaid (generic 35ex3-03-06) then i hold & press any four digits then the generic word flashing then i press 58 withen 10seconds (result invalid)
