I've just installed a universal and an Rmats card on my test sx50, defaulted the system and tried to dial rmats local 498. No luck.

All the programming seems to be there when the system is defaulted. Checked 110, 192. Dialed from the console and from an extension. No luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks

What kind of MCC. It is better to have MCC 2.
Yu have to have modem set up for 300 baud, Even parity, 7 bits, 2 stop: another words
300
even
7,2

The problem seems to be the system not recognizing the Rmat. If I dial 498 I get an invalid from the console and an error tone from an extension.

Also when the system boots up I don't see any lights on the universal, but I do get a green light on the universal once the system comes up all the way.

I've got an MCC, not MCC2 with MR55 software.

Make syre Com.100 has d=1.
If you go to Com.900 and press Reset Softkey what happend? Do you see card is Reseting? If not you have bad card, if yes try another spot on Universal card for RMAT.

I have had problems with individual locations on universal card! And no rhyme or reason to which slot on the card! And I've had problems with slot in cabinet, again, no rhyme or reason. And software level seems to have no affect. I guess the RMATs cards are just 'picky'. John C.
