Could you be a little more specific??
Are we talking line appearances, physical connections, what type of 2000, what type of phone, etc.????

Put a digital set in with an Sims 2 / Aims (Analog Inteface Module) module.

Or, if you're trying to record from a digital extension or some such... All handsets are analog.
