I have brain freeze. I am getting a reorder tome about 1.5 seconds after dialing ARS access code if I don't dial an additional digit. I have set the dialing conflict timer and limited wait for dial tone is not enabled in any of the phone COSes - what am I missing here? I know I have adjusted this before on other systems but can't remember what the heck I did.

Dane, it's been a while, but, isn't there a timer in ars in the expansion tables? John C. (Not Garand)

Maybe is a digital link and in "Route Assigment" U have a number (number of digits of route acces code) in the "Digits Before Outpulsing" and what U "see" is the interdigit timer of your TELCO .
(just say'n)

Dane, I think it's DTMF inter-digit timer in COS or form 4

I will check these but I think I have 47 set up fairly (and that was my first thought) but as I have done the research in the docs it says that ARS Unknown digit length time out has to do with entering account code digits when "variable account code length" is enabled. However I will check again,

Oh and the timer couldn't be from the TELCO because it is happening after dialing access code before and digits are entered.

It's strange because it is timing out directly after dialing 9. I can't find an inter-digit time out in COS or form 4 and it can't be the telco because no digits have been routed. Nothing in Modified digit that would be affecting this. Keep the suggestions coming - and I'll keep looking. I will let you know if I find it myself.

Thanks

Okay as it turned out it was option 47 in form 4. this was the first thing I checked - unfortunately I did not have access to the switch and was walking someone through the programming and they gave me erroneous info on the value that was there - it was at 2 secs and we raised it to 6 and that fixed it.

Thanks for the help
