Hello,
Our Mitel test system can connect older 50xx series phones, but gives a L2, Main missing error when connecting a supported 52xx series phone.
In the WBM, the 5215 and 5220 is listed, but connecting to the device via FTP shows that the firmware for these phones is not listed.
I am assuming that the phone rebooting over and over means that the needed firmware is missing.
If someone could provide this firmware, this would be greatly appreciated.
PS: All of the latest updates and OS have been applied.

Are these 5200 series phones brand new out of the box or previously installed on something else, I have seen in the past if installed lets say on a 3300 first that it will take the firmware from the 3300 and it will not load on other systems. I don't have the 3100 documentation but maybe you can flash/default these phones to factory default.

I have tried to default the settings. Is there a way to default the phone firmware?
