Im pretty green at this Mitel stuff, Inter-tel is what im good at but im trying to make the transition.
I have a mitel 3300 mxe. I have set the main DID to ring to 80187, I made 80187 4 mulitcall keys at the main phone.
I just want it to ring there 5 times, then go the AA. In that AA i want the dial 0 option to go to 80189 (another mulitcall key on the recept phone so they know its a dial 0 call) and option 1 to go directly to a general mailbox.
this is a 3 minute inter-tel deal but im lost on the routing of this system. I thought that if the DN didnt have a VM assigned to it, it would go to the AA after 5 rings by default but it just rings forever.
edit: also when i park a call on an extension, neither the park nor park retrieve buttons light up. does the user know theres a call parked? help!
Thanks

Each access code/directory number is handled independently, whether they have a mailbox or not. The call rerouting tables are were you assign rerouting destinations.

I didn't have the first and second alt set to go to voice mail, that's why the AA never picked up. then i played with timer to get the amount of rings correct.
