The problem is probably that the trunk cards have been switched to loop start, and the AT&T trunks are ground start. You will have to temporarily switch the trunk card LS/GS swithes back to ground start. And I for one, cannot explain how to do that here. My descriptive abilities are not nearly as great as my 'GAB' abilities! smile John C.

Your noise will probably be gone. As to the Quad Receiver board, that will not have it's problem(s), whatever it/they are, cured.

ONLY cards with BLACK levers can be pulled in the SX100/200 analog systems while the system is running. Color of Quad receiver levers? Violet/purple. Turn off the system FIRST. BUT, when is the last time the memory support batteries were changed? Mitel said every 3 years. Usually ok for 5 years. Most haven't been changed in this century, probably including yours. Hope you have a copy of your program! Turn system off, change card QUICK, and turn system back on! Have the card out ready to go, not still in the box, or wrapped in anti-static bag!

You're going to love this. I am assuming that your software is 217. If so, the board has to come out of the cabinet. The batteries are soldered in place on the board, 3 each 1/3AAT batteries! frown So, again, you need to have a copy of your program, because when the old batteries are removed, whether they are holding a small charge or not, the board WILL lose the program.

Don't mis-understand, the system can be reprogrammed without the written program. But, it's going cost a day or two of labor, instead of 1/2 a day of labor. And there will probably be 1 or 2 returns to fine tune the program.

Sorry to be the carrier of bad news, but you should know what's going to happen and how much $. frown John C.
