Hello Everybody,
I switched my 4 numbers to PhonePower which provides Voip Adapter, one for each number. This adapter has 2 lines and both can be used at same times or make calls, both rings when receiving calls and one is used to make or receive call other one rings. This 2nd line is provided at no extra cost.
My question is can Mitel SX50 (MS55-MR4-PR5-G07.18 version) Trunk group be programmed to use one line from each adapter to use for incomming and other line from each adapter for outgoing calls? The thing is both lines rings on a adpater when reveiving call associated to that adapter. So the Console will show 2 incomming calls unless the group of Outgoing lines be programmed not to ring.
Is this possible? Currently I assigned 2 adapters (4 lines) to have outgoing service and when somebody calls back on those 2 numbers, it rings to my 2 rest of the numbers (I did not connect 2nd lines on those 2 adapters to SX50 because it shows 2 incomming calls on console, This settings to forward calls were done on PhonePower website.
I looked in the programming but can not see how to programme a outgoing line (or group) not to ring.
Appreciate the help.

You have to program it to ring to an equipped, not in use port.
But, in all honesty, it sounds to me like they have screwed something up!

Hello John,
Do you mean Direct-In Lines programming to unused extention? Please shed some light on it as i want to have no ringing from the 4 outgoing lines group only. Other 4 incomming lines should ring at Console or assigned night ans point.
Thanks

Direct in ringing to an unused extension. Exactly. But, it will probably have to be one that is actually on a real circuit card in the system!
