Hi I am not a mitel specialist. I have a client with a mitel connected to the Samsung pbx by means of a E1/T1 card.
The Mitel use to send the digits that the mitel extention dial to the Samsung via the E1/t1 link, but alas after the clients sticky fingers got involved not anymore. The original installer is not in business anymore,so the client got hold of someone else, but the guy cannot get this fixed. Any pointers i can give the oke?
E1/T1 30 Channels with CRC4 switched on,Mitel is Telco(exchange).I can dial the extention numbers on the mitel and it goes to the correct number dialled. When the mitel extention dial any number it just rings to my Operator,so i do not get any digits from the Mitel.

First, did anyone mess with the Samsung? Sure sounds like it is getting digits it doesn't know what to do with! It's as if the digit receiving/comparison tables have been 'adjusted'. Or the numbering plan has been changed.
Next, turn on and monitor outgoing SMDR on the Mitel on those channels. And on the Samsung turn on incoming SMDR on those channels. You need to know exactly where the problem is, before it can be fixed.

Can you monitor incoming digits at the Samsung. This may tell you what was done in the Mitel

I did monitor . Do not receive any incoming digits from Mitel. Is there anywhere in the Mitel programming where you can switch on/off sending of digits.
Hmmm thinking about it CRC4 is switched on now.

Is there an access code to access the E&M Trunk group?

OK, first, is the Samsung end configured to expect E & M signaling, or some other type of trunk, like DID? And can you provide an example of what digit stream it expects? (Boy, do I love reverse engineering. NOT!)
