Does anyone know where I can get the software for a 704i? Or at least know the name of it, so I can search for it?
Also, will the programming manual for the 384i work for the 704i?

There is a 704i windows PC programming application available, but we use it mostly for backups. The 384i programming manual will work fine through the telephone. The only way I know how you get the 704i software is to purchase it from a dealer or be a certified tech with a password to download it from the manufacturer's site. Also there is a hardware requirement - usually a daughterboard on the CPU to enable PC programming.
