On a MOD ICS (R1/T1 Software) my customer manually transfers some callers off premise to a tech support #. There seems to be a low volume issue when this occurs. Is there a setting I can change on the MOD ICS to make this any better?

If you initiated a trunk-to-trunk transfer and drop out, the problem lies with the telco. If you are conferencing 2 outside 1 inside there is no adjustment.

I ran into the same problem on the CICS system with the 4.1 software version. The off premise transfer was very low in volume. This was not a telco trouble (transmission on each individual line was fine) in my case but inherent to the CICS system. I forwarded my cell phone when I was out of the office and the volume from forwarded calls was very low. The Norstar MICS nor CICS have a built in conference bridge. The MICS has lots of nice features but call forward off premise is not one of them. I am now using a less sophisticated system but the trunk to trunk transfer volume is greatly improved.

I have found a slight drop but normally comes down to what type of lines you are using, BRI or PRI. personally i think that BRI gives better sound quality
