I have a nortel norstar 0x32 with two PRI cards installed. We are running 6.1 XC software. Cox services my T1's.
Every morning (when call volumes are high) many callers receive a fast busy signal or sometimes a 'call cannot be completed' message. Cox has been on-site multiple times and it is verified we are not using all of our channels and all translations seem to be ok. The problem seems to occur when inbound calls attempt to rollover to the second T1.
Strangely, not every call that tries to rollover gets a busy signal, there are a few that do get through. This was verified by Cox watching the channels.
Cox says rolling over to the second T1 is working fine from their end because they plugged the second T1 into a meter and watched all the calls come into the meter.
HELP HELP HELP this is killing us. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks, Ryan

Are all 24 lines of T1 answered AA? If not,you should set every line to RING or APPR. and,you need set 'line prime set'.
