Tested The Site With A ATA2 Unit Plugged Into A Digital Port On The BCM 400 ( All OK )

Plugged The Analogue Module Into The BCM 400
The Ports Do Not Appear To Have The Same Power.

IE: The Phones On The Remote Site
Do Not Ring ( Can Fit Ring Booster )
Bad Speech

Do You Have Any Tech Info On This Module
Or Can Help With This Problem

Thanks Chris

How far away is the remote phone? It can't be over 4000ft. Have you tried the phone next to the BCM? Plug it right on the 66-blocks, 110-blocks, or whatever you are using. If it doesn't work being that close, then I would think you have a bad analog module. That would be my guess.

For the BCM to the ATA2 - it is 2,600 ft.(24 gauge wire)
For the ATA2 to the phone, for voice -15,000 ft.
For the ATA2 to terminal, for data - 2,400 ft.
Both using 26 gauge wire.

This is out of the BCM 3.6 manual.

Don't forget to test the phone right at the switch for troubleshooting.

Thanks For Your Help

I Think We Will Be Fitting ATA2 Unit.

Ref The Info On The ATA2, Over The BCM Alog Unit.

We Will Test The Cables, Just For The Tech Info.
To Look At The Losses.

Test The Power Out Of The BCM Unit Local / Remote
Test The Power Out Of The ATA2 Local / Remote

As This Is A Big Site.
Some Extn's Go Over PTO Long Line Extn's

Will Post The Test Info
