I've installed Unified Messaging on several computers at a client's office. On three of them, it works perfectly. On three of them, I get the following Windows error dialog box:

Any idea what the conflicting application could be? Whether I hit Yes or No, the fax never sends.

Make sure their mailbox has outdial rights in the CallPilot Manager.

Also, make sure that they don't have any firewall/antivirus software that is blocking SMTP (port 25), as the UM client uses SMTP to transfer the fax to the BCM.

All mailboxes use "Route" to dial out, I will check on Port 25...thanks, I will let you know how it turns out...

Norton AntiVirus installed - but no personal (or Windows) firewall is enabled. I disabled the firewall and tested, and still get the error message...if I say "No" - it opens a Save As dialog box - looking to save the "temp tiff" file - but nothing else happens from there...stumped
