I am upgrading from 6.1 regular to 7.0 XC and adding an additional 6 port fiber. I know I have to reprogram the entire system, but are there any other gotchas that anyone can warn me about...thanks!

usualy when you upgrade you should be ok and you shouldn't lose your programing just after you got your 6 port fiber in dont ever take it out and re power the system then youll lose everything but when you upgrade you should be fine good luck by the way it might take up to 15 to even 30 minutes for it to come up so if it doesnt come up right away go have a beer and then come back

Install went smooth...only issue is I got a regular 6 port fiber, and I probably should have gotten a 2nd Combo (they have 2 DTI cards). I've ordered it, so - it should help. I did have trouble with the first time power up and the NAM (4.1) - but all I had to do was Shut Down/restart the NAM and it was fine. I also had trouble with DNs 245 and 249 (ports 0125 and 0129) noted elsewhere in this forum. Thanks for your help...if you have a chance, please check out my other posts for v7.0 and tell me if you have seen my problem before...thanks!

Another post here had the same problem. It appears 7.0 is an alpha release, not even beta.
