I been printing off my voice mail reports through telephone access. I tried hooking up to the RS-232 port with hyperterm and downloading. When I connect a password prompt appears. Tried sys admin password but that does'nt work. Any idea what the default password is?

That is what I was hoping for, a PM. Have tried everything I could think of and defaults from other Nortel VM but still no luck. Until then I guess I will kep printing from the phone set.

I don't remember it ever asking for a password when using hyperterminal, anyone else?

yes it does ask for a password... Nortel maintenance.
Its not like the older Star talks that let you telnet in and program. Access for installers and users is via the telephone only.

Refer to post on 6 December 2005 Printing Norstar configurations. You can print or save them to a file thru Hyperterm direct connect but you control with the phone commands.
