I'm confused! A customer wants to call forward his ext. to a cell phone, but only certain calls after they've been screened. I don't want to redirect lines since I have no idea what line calls may come in on....My thoughts was to build a second ext. and voice mail and those screened calls that should go to that extension with call froward external on the CP. What do you suggest?

Set up a destination code and route. Then you can simply transfer the screened call to the cell.

For the live answer you can use CO link trnsfer. For the AA screening use the Call pilot's CLID table to route an appropriate extention that is forwarded off prem.

You can set up follow me forwarding in a voice mail (dial 7) but only tell certain people about it.

Marv, That dial 7...I can't find the instructions in any of the Call Pilot Documentation which is pretty silly on NOrtels part since it is a great feature. Can you tell me a bit more?

Thanks,
Beth

It's in there. :read:

It's called outbound transfer. Page 68 in the 3.0 Call Pilot Reference Guide.

Just be aware that once you open up voice mail for any Outbound dialing then you also open yourself up for Toll Fraud. So I would build a filter restricting all numbers then just put Over rides for the numbers you allow and assign that filter to the voice mail ports.
