Last week we moved a DR5 616 and a Flash (2 port/4 channel) with Rel 1 2.0.02 Feat Card. All went as expected except for the Flash. It would not come up. A 7310 works on both ports (Ex 34 & 35 -ports 15 & 16. F983 has no response---nor do any of the F98_ feature codes. We replaced the unit, temporarily, with a Mini that we had as a test unit in our shop. It works at the location fine.
Back in our shop, I took the Flash apart and can find no physical problems that I can see.
The unit powers up but can't do anything else.
I replaced the Flash Card with Rel 03, but with the same results.
I have checked the Cap--it's running about 4.6 volts.
I have shorted out the cap and again, tried to get a F98_ response---but so far, no luck.
I must be missing something. Any direction would be appreciated.
