Have a doctors office where 3 recept answer the phones .. each rep a particular doc. same phone number for all 3 so they want AA to answer the call and direct the call to 1 of the 3 recpt. if they dont answer at their particular set they want the call to go to an information mail box but as you know you can't forward a local to a info m/b any ideas ? the reason is they dont want to take one anothers calls

Use the Alternate greeting in the reception MB's. There is an option with ALT greetings to not allow the caller to leave a message.

you might want to try setting the system to answer on zero rings and then go to ccr tree with the opition to press 1 and go to one ext. and then 2 for another doctor and so on using the rec.ext. number and the path on the tree. then have there phone fwd noanswer to vm and that way they only get the msg for their doctor. if you just want them to leave a msg , just record a msg saying you have reach the etc. of doctor so and so please leave etc. i have set up a few like that and it works find. hope it helps.

Right after you CHOOSE the ALT greeting there should be an option to ACCEPT MSG:Y/N.
REading back, you don't mention which voice mail you are using.

Are you just wanting to transfer to information ONLY and that is all??
Then this is your best bet. Hopefully you have not used up all of your CCR trees. Make a CCR tree - lets use number 4. When you make your CCR tree, instead of selecting the usual HOME MENU NODE, select HOME INFORMATION NODE. Then make your info message in PATH 0.
Now when someone has a phone call that you want them to listen to the info, do this: Feature 986 4# That will transfer them right to CCR Tree #4 and they listen to the message.
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

What Marv has suggested will work perfect , they want the call to be trans by the AA to one of the three receptionest , that local will ring say 4 times if they dont answer the call or dont want to , the alt will play not giving them an option to leave message , just instructions to call back in five minutes ,,the big concern is if someone can leave a message expecting a Dr. to call them back and he doesn't and they die @#$%^&&& will hit the fan, (lawsuite)
