cutomer has a mics 7.1 and the call pilot. now it is set that when the caller dials 0 it is transferred to extension 245. how can i set when there is no answer that the mailbox should go to the general delivery mailbox and not ext 245 mailbox but when a caller dials 245 it should go to the extension mailbox and not the GDM

Make the extension for GDM (100) be x245. Create a mailbox 245 that has no extension. Callers press 0, calls will ring x245 and go to GDM. Caller dials 245 call goes right to mbx245.

I did that but now it always goes to GDM even when the caller dials x245. Thay have another problem when i set the 100 mailbox should be x245 when it goes to voicemail i hear a different prompt not the one recorded for 100.
Thanks For Your Help

Any way you slice there will be a compromise.

If the customer insists on using the GDM (dial 0) and the reception (245) have it's own mailbox, then one them has to be a phantom. In this case it's best for the GDM to be phantom.

MB 100 = DN 100, MB 245 = DN 245.

In this case 0 calls will ring DN 245 and if unanswered will go to GDM. Calls to 245 will ring 245 and if unanswered will go to MB 245. The only catch is the GDM will not indicate message waiting. The GDM will have to be check regularly or you can set external message notification to call ext 245 when there is a message in the GDM.
