I have outbound xfr setup to an external number on one of my extensions, im trying to set it up on another extension and when i goto the admin in voicemail its only giving me the ext option not the phone option. I have outdail selected to pool 1 in my voicemail setup same as the other extension but i still dont have to phone option, i believe im leaving out something but cant for the life of me remember how i got the other extension to show up the phone option? any ideas?

Sounds like they are in different Class Of Service. Some COS have ENABLE OUTBOUND TRANSFER as Yes and some COS have it NO
If CON is the opposite of PRO Then what is the opposite of Progress?

It is might look silly but make sure your mailbox external notification turned on in MB options. You might have Pool 1 in outbound access but Off prom Notification feature is not on.

Off premise Notification has nothing to do with External Outbound Transfer.

I'm not quite certain which out bound transfer you are talking about. On the phone or in the voice mail?
In your post you say I have outbound xfr setup to an external number on one of my extensions, im trying to set it up on another extension
This to me says it's a call forward external on the phone system. This is not a function of the Call Pilot. Outbound transfer in the voice mail requires the caller to press 7 once inside a mailbox. Is this what you are trying to setup? Or are you setting up a external transfer point in the CCR.
Please clarify for any further help.

Well if you are sure the settings are really identical, then I would suggest that you delete the mail box and try again.

If the COS of the mailboxes is the same then it's just matter of entering the number and turning it on.
