System: MICS 7.1
VM: NAM 4.0.04C

2 problems.

Mailboxes are set up with correct extentions. COS. 1.

Tried both, Return to AA Yes and No.

Tried AA Menu Prompt yes and no.

No DRT
Callback set to 6 rings.

Seccond problem.

when in AA, press 1 for company DIR. ex.

for John Smith, dial 226.

Caller dials any ext. and menu repeats. You must press * then the extention....

Any thoughts????

Thanks!

Tried both, Return to AA Yes and No. (This only gives the caller the option of returning to the AA when they hit the * key.)

Tried AA Menu Prompt yes and no. (This is only to detinguish whether it's the canned prompts or yours)

Therefore neither of those will do anything to solve your problems.

Had that problem, let me think about it. I'll post later when I remember.

Hi.
are any of these extensions set to appear and ring, are your mailboxes initialized.
if you dial feature 985 what dn does it show

#2.your option 1 set it as a menu only a menu you can dial an extension but then you must create a path11 set it as an info box.just record dead air for a second.cause when building a menu it needs to see a path, that will solve your problem

Just a quick thought....

Are you sure that your "directory" is in the AA and not in the "Company Greeting"? That would explain why callers would have to dial the * key....to get into their mailbox when calling from outside to get their mail messages.

Trying some more things...

Call Forward Busy is set to none.

make a call on 224 so it is busy, call in and dial 224, right to voicemail. This is with only one intercom.

Add seccond Intercom and rings 4 times, returns to AA.

You can't dial from info ext.number that is why its asking you to dial * key to go back to Manue. You can assign 1 as a Manue then record sialens as a Greeting for 1 sec. In this case anybody can dial an extension.
