We have to sysload our option 81 switch as we are having several issues and it has been recommended to do this. We have normally used our vendor to do this in the past but our Management wants us to do this now. I have just come on board and been tasked to look into this. We have Call Pilot and Symposium. How do you do a sysload on an option 81? Any help is GREATLY appreciated

Do a datadump to capture your last database. There is a way to do a parallel reload each processor at a time listed in the NTPs. The other way is to press the reset or sysload buttons on BOTH core cards simultaneously. THIS WILL STOPP ALL CALL PROCESSING. The system should recover in around 10-15 minutes.
