I have added a 4C0 module to the top position (3). I have checked and made the appropriate settings on program 109 and 400. The additional CO's (from the original 9 to 12) look to be recognized as they are 'available' in the Panasonic PC based program utility. I have cycled power for 10 minutes which has also done nothing. The CO's are available for assignment to the extension 'hot buttons' and allows me to assign... but when selecting after the fact the assigned button on any extension phone I get the same message of 'CO not assigned'. I have moved the 4CO to all 3 expansion slots and the problem still persists.
This is a 1232-5 unit.
Need some kind of suggestion as to what to check next.

Swap those new COs with one on the main cabinet, 1-8 and see what happens. Also put one of the COs 1-8 on the 180 card and see what happens. By default CO lines 9-12 are in Group 8. press intercom 88 and see if you get a co line on the card. If not chek your outgoing assignments in 605 and 606
