After a power outage, my voice system doesn't work. It turns on, the power light blinks and then it stops "trying". The power light blinks 4 times every 10 seconds or so. I tried resetting to switch 5 without any change in the blink pattern ...

not sure what originally stopped your system. But if you power cycled the unit with the dipswitch in 5 you erased everything and it will need to be reprogrammed. I would call your Telephone Vendor.

sounds like the hardrive has stuck if you restart the system and tap on the h/drive while it is starting this should get it going again get your coms person to do this but now that you have reset the switch to 5 and restarted you may have to reprog the v/mail ..

a steady flashing means ther is no connection to the switch.
If it flashes and stops and flashes and stops
you probably lost the drive.
You can try defaulting it and reprogramming from scratch but I doubt it will work.

he may be able to help you out.
