Does anyone have a reference for connecting an external amanda vm (DTMF) for dbs 576. I have connected the dbs 576 to 4 new analog ports and to the amanda, programmed the ports as vm and assigned to the existing vm group. The system has an in skin dbs voicemail that is panavoice w2k based. It works now, but always cuts off messages and gets memory leak errors in windows. When connected to the amanda, the calls that are supposed to go to vm from a station, forward to the amanda system, but go to the main amanda greeting, not the specific mailbox. So the system is not sending the vm ID to the amanda. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have never connected an Amanda to the 576. I have with the other DBS products.
It sounds like you are saying the following. Correct me if I am wrong. When a call comes in, the Amanda AA answers the call. The caller dials an extension to transfer out to. After the caller dials the extension, it rings the extension that was dialed. At this time, instead of the extensions mailbox answering the call, it goes back to the AA(990 or 991)?
Sounds like either CFWD isn't set correctly, OR the Amanda isn't hearing the in-band signaling. Have you programmed the CFWD integration digits at each extension yet? You have to do this, or it will never work.

Is your Amanda set up to integrate specifically with the DBS 576 or the older DBS like the 40/72/96?

That is essentially correct. I have DID's and the forwarding from interal intercom calls that forward to the amanda. The system AA is not setup to answer incoming calls. It does forward to (generic)AA when it forwards from the DID's or internal calls instead of to the mailbox. Since the old internal VM works with the forwarding, I am assuming that the CFWD integration digits are set correctly for the extensions. The inband signal is what seems to get lost. What settings should I check for the signaling to change from the internal system to the amanda? The amanda is set to integrate with the DBS 576.
Thanks again. Inline

The In-skin Panavoice requires no integration digits. It is a proprietary unit made specifically for a Panasonic system. You will have to set-up the integration digits for the Amanda without a doubt. Amanda would be able to give you the exact procedure to integrate the 576 with their system.
