I am using the D816 Digital Super Hybrid System.
I have multiple KX-T7420 DPTs.
How do I receive a call waiting call?
i.e. I am on line 1 and I hear the call waiting tone.
What do I do?
I have tried everything the the manual says.
i.e. Press Hold or Press Transfer
Please Help
Am I missing something?

It depends. Are you referring to call waiting on an internal call -OR- call waiting on an outside line?

If you are on an outside call, just press the flash button to toggle between the two outside callers.

The system's flash timer duration might not be set for the correct value, which should be 600 milliseconds.

The TD series defaults to pressing hookflash on a DPT set is a disconnection signal you have to program it to be an EFA feature first.
Program 990 Area 01 Bit 3 needs to be changed from 0 to 1 to allow you to use Call Wating from the Phone Company.

Hey guys,
For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to change the program rob mentioned above.
Can you provide a step by step for me? I'm using KD-T7433 for system programming.

This is what I have been trying:
Program **(password)
than it says: USR-PGM NO?
I try to enter 990, but nothing happens.
Is this right?

This is right out of the manual After typing this I noticed you are in USR PGM mode, you need to be in SYS PRG mode.
*#password
1. Enter 990. Display: 990 SYS ADD DATA
2. Press NEXT. Display: Area NO?
3. Enter an area code. Display example: 0010100011111001
4. Keep pressing arrow left or arrow right to move the cursor to the desired bit.
5. Enter your selection. To change the current entry, press STORE and the new selection.
6. To program another bit, repeat steps 4 and 5.
7. Press STORE.
8. To program another area, press SELECT and the desired area code.
9. Repeat steps 4 through 8.
10.Press END.
