OK, got it.....
Not sure how it was working before, but port 1 of the 204's was not plugged into the lowest number extension.
All is good now.
PS I hate cleaning up after others.....

Well guys, my dilema continues. The whole reason for upgrading from the tvs200 to the tvs225 was to transfer callers to an outside number. The feature is not working. Here is the scenario:
Call comes in, TVS225 answers and user presses number corresponding to "Transfer to Outside" feature. Secondary line is accessed and then drops.
-I do have a 9 before the outside number. -Outside phone corresponding to the dialed never rings. -Customer does not have centrex lines.
Any ideas?

you may want to try this: set it to analyze, and changed the transfer sequence from F*60TN to F*60TND to disconnect. In the maintenance console @ 2.4.1 'On hook Waiting Time for call from VM to CO' defaults at 10 seconds. Change it to 1 or 2 seconds. this may just be what you need. MrG

If xfer to outside is set on in COS (for all ports involved, and lines available) and using blind transfer, it will work on any rev 200.

Simple fix. Put your butt set on a spare analog port (make sure XDP is enabled). Forward the analog extension to an outside number (71069+ the phone number + #). Test it by calling the extension from another phone. Now in your custom menu place the analog extension as your destination for the desired option and watch it work.

What he is wanting to do here is a direct transfer from a custom menu to an outside number which the TVS units X25 should be able to do. There is no mailbox involved. analyze is a setting in the TVS, maint con. is simply LT w/hyperterm. We have the digit translation set up and it will call and ring the outside number, it's just that it disconnects after a few seconds. MrG

SNC, no, the PUTD under utilities is simply to read the DTMF Info. being sent. If you look at page 247 of the TVS225 Install. Man. you will see "call transfer to outside" using the digit translation tables of a custom menu. Page 356 will help explain the "analyze & guidance" settings for the outside transfer answer mode. This is a feature only on the X25 series of the TVS. I seldom used it. I would usually just send it to an Ext. that was forwarded to an outside number. Either way it's going to use 2 CO lines. MrG
