just remember if you didn't troubleshoot it, the problem might be the phone company and you might have the same problem with the new system.

Gave customer a couple estimates on new system and never heard back, so he must have bought from someone else or problem has gone away.

You should follow up. I've had a few people not respond to a quote, thought it was dead, followed up after a couple of months and still closed the deal.
