I have a TDA100 and a TVA50.

I'd like the ability to transfer calls to an outside line if im not in the office..

Say someone calls and dials my extension, 102. It forwards it to my cell phone.

Also, is there a way that when someone leaves a voicemail it not only emails me the voicemail (which we'll setup with the network card) but it also calls my cell phone and plays the voicemail message? (we're setting this up for after-hours tech support, so we are always notified of voicemails.. right now customers leave a voicemail in box 608 and it lights up our tech support phones indicating theres a message waiting, but we'd like notification when we're not in the office)

Yes you can forward your extension to an outside line. Your class of service has to be allowed to do it then you can dial the right code at your phone to forward and unforward it. I think that code is found in the phone user manual.

And yes you can set message notification to your cell phone. That is found under mailbox settings in the TVA, I think that has to be allowed in that mailbox's class of service also.

OK im having some trouble here...

One feature im trying to get going is that if someone gets my voicemail, they have the option of pressing 3 and it will try my cell phone.

Now I get it so that when I press 3, it tries to dial. I can see my port status going from INCOMING CALL changing to OUTGOING CALL after i press, but my cell never rings.

In the personal custom service menu I put

Button 3 -> Transfer to outside (specified number) -> Value of 1

My 1 phone number is "5555555555"

Ive tried "T5555555555"

both put me on hold, nothing happens

I've also tried "95555555555" and it ends up going "incorrect entry"

Check your Class of Service and make sure you are allowed to do what you are trying to do.

OK so im at my office now, and got things sorta working.

1) I fixed my trunk group, so when I press 9 it grabs an outside line

2) I tested this internally, by telling the system to dial 102 when a new message is received, this works. It calls my extension

3) Now.. next i put in 91112223333

And I see that eventually after about 10-20 secondes, one of my CO lines lights up in use.. but my phone never rings... it gives up... any thoughts???

Nevermind got it working. I had to tell my VM system in the parameters how many digits my phone #'s were, it was looking for 7, not 10, lol

OK nevermind didnt work.

If i put in my local 7 digita number, it works. If i try a 10 digita number (like my home number which is in a different area code), nothing... any thoughts?

Does some1 has the solution for this issue?
When a caller press 5, how can this be used to call my cell phone. (transfering call to a number through fee co) i have set this up, but still it opens a line but then it disconnects.

Welcome to the board, but just a couple of tips. First of all, we don't type shortcuts in language. Someone not Some1 you save 2 letters, big deal. Second, and most important. What system do you have and why would you tack your question onto a nearly 18 month old thread?

If you're really using a TDA system, I would create an ICD number with forwarding off premise. You still have to enable CF Off Prem in COS, but the number is now fixed in the database. We usually use 300 or 400 more than the extension, eg 101 401 but that's up to you.
