I can’t get MOH to play over any of the Panasonic system phone stations. Already reinitialized the KSU and tried putting just one KXT-7425 on extension 101 and still can’t get MOH to play when the digit 1 is pressed. Also there is no conformation tone being heard when the digit 1 is pressed, to turn MOH off.

K, welcome
What system?
Can the MOH be heard by a caller placed on hold?

Check field 803. Make sure you have the same source setting in BGM as you do for MOH.

I'll have one of our technicians recheck that parameter, but I would have thought all that would have been set back to their default settings when we reitialized the KSU.

OK both Hold & BGM come up as Music1. We tried to disable BGM by pressing digit 2 and then store to save the change but both BGM and Hold come up as Music1. We can not change BGM to anything but Music1.

the only other field to check is 990, area 2, bit 10.
Make sure it's a 1
If your checking it through a PT I believe it counts from right to left.
Also try resetting it.
