That is the model of the phone itself. The model of telephone you have will work with many Panasonic systems.
Can you tell us what model the phone system is? Since your question relates to the VM system, we will also need to know what model the VM system is as well.

intercom 165, just gets me to the company message.
I need to know how to change the individual greetings at the extensions themselves.

It sounds like "direct mailbox access" is disabled so:
intercom 165
#6* and mbox number
follow prompts

Or it could be that you don't have a mail box on that extension.
Does 165 take you to the main greeting on all extensions?
